LIST OF SUBSCRIBERS / TEILNEHMERLISTE

The second half of October belongs to one of Prague's pedestrian races for the tenth year - the now traditional Hodinovce and frame races. The top event of the Czech pedestrian autumn will take place this year on October 21.10. again at the AC Praha 1890 stadium. During the 10th anniversary year, pedestrians from 9 countries will appear at the start!!!

The organizers have been waiting for a long time to see how many competitors will sign up for the race, and in the last week the floodgates literally burst with applications. In the end, almost 100 competitors will compete at different distances, which is unheard of in Czech meadows and groves, if it is a non-league race. This places increased demands on the organizing team, and successfully managing the competition day is quite a challenge.

The race day will start with children's races. 1000 children will line up at the start of the 11m course, the competitors from Vyško and Prague will be joined by walking guests from Slovakia. Last year, children's races were also widely registered on site.

2000 young competitors will be presented on the 10m track, and in addition to the traditional divisions, competitors from AK Duchcov will also appear. For some students, it will be a walking premiere, while other children took their first steps in the team finals. Another example of how important it is to include walking in team competitions of all age categories. If children have a place to race, they will love to try walking, especially if their coaches are open-minded and allow children to practice all disciplines.

Even the 3000m attracted 8 pupil walkers, the biggest favorite is Vojtěch Vejvančický from Rumbur, the girls will compete with two representatives from Slovakia.

13 competitors will then fight for the best possible results at a distance of 5000m. Here, the young athletes will be joined by veteran competitors. The foreign guests will be represented by the Austrian veteran Hirschmungl and even the pedestrian Borissov from Kazakhstan will stand on the starting line! The biggest favorite is still the student Dan Mochal from Liberec, who will try to follow on the heels of the student Rösler from Mladá Boleslav and Plecháček from Turnov. It will be interesting to see if the teenager Piták from Vrchlab will be able to compete with them, for whom it will be only the second start this season. The youngest competitors and the most experienced at the start, Petr Adam, are separated by an incredible 58 years on their birth certificates!!!

More than 40 pedestrians signed up for the time trial, and the race will once again be divided into two starting waves.

At 11:10, the first group of 23 walkers set off for the main race of the day. This group will consist primarily of veteran male and female athletes. Lenka Borovičková, the medalist from the last EC in Italy, will appear at the start, Udo Schaffer, the king of the pedestrian tables, among others, arrived from Germany, Polish veteran Luniewski and, above all, the sponsor and organizer of the race Pepa Smola. The oldest competitors at the start - Gonsiorovský, Marek and the German Horst Kiepert deserve a huge round of applause. We can only envy their sporting enthusiasm and vigor. Pedestrian youth will primarily be represented by Alžběta Franklová. Although she has performances from the spring races that would place her in the faster wave of competitors, the autumn part of the season did not catch her in the best shape, so she will fight for a partial victory in her group.

At 12:30 an elite group of men and women will start their 60-minute race.

Among our male representatives, the race attracted members of the Ostrava training group Zajíček s Morávek, but they will have a very strong opponent in the form of the young Hungarian Tóth. He recently broke the Hungarian U23 10km record with a performance well below 41 minutes, and it seems that the race record will be shaken to its foundations. Behind our pedestrians, last year's winner Olianovská from Ukraine will most likely fight for another meeting record. Despite the fact that Tereza Durďiaková, tenth from the World Championships, will appear at the start, the Ukrainian competitor is a clear favorite. Tereza's closest opponent will most likely be the Hungarian Torma, the current Czech number two Eliška Martínková, and we will see in what form the Frenchwoman Biré-Heslouis will be at the start. The youngest competitor at the start will be Martínková's training partner, Czech junior representative and the fourth from Poděbrady, Ema Klimentová. Athletes from Germany, Poland, and Slovakia will also be represented in this starting wave, and an athlete from the USA should start. Unfortunately, in the end, the Ethiopian competitors, who did not have time to arrange visas for the Czech Republic and Germany, will not arrive.

For the first time, the race will be broadcast on the Internet in the form of a live stream.

We wish all the athletes great performances and the organizers that the jubilee race and the weather will be perfect.
