20180610 0062 LukasImageThe traditional race, organized by its founding club AC Prague 1890, now also as a league club (for the 1934st and 2006nd leagues), took place for the third time as the Memorial of Josef Průcha, a well-known walking coach (* 10 - + 28), Prague. Management organizers pp. Zouharem st. and Šára welcomed 13 men (including 40 veterans over the 3th age limit of the off-track organizers) and one woman, a XNUMX km youth framework race, attended by three juniors and one junior at the start of the main XNUMX km category.

The difficulty of the track was exacerbated by the warm weather (although less than last year), which did not suit the performance.

From the very beginning, the favorites fought for the victory, represented by Olympians Lukáš Gdula from Hvězda Pardubice and Vít Hlaváč from Kladno; both of them went through a shorter crisis, which Hlaváč managed better and thus won the new track record of 45:31 min; the second Gdula also broke last year's record (45:43 min). Rostislav Kolář from Hranice (50:37 min) took third place five minutes later, followed by Vojtěch Libnar (52:27 min), Vojtěch Ambrož (52:54 min), both from Nové město nad Metují, and Filip Hejkrlík (Sixth) 53:08 min) in the colors of AC Pardubice.

The best veteran was Josef Smola (54 years old) from the club SMOLA CHŮZE Praha in 54:11 min in front of the New Town coach David Šnajdr (47 years) in 54:59 min and Luďek Šolc (57 years) from Mladá Boleslav in 56:42 min. The oldest participant Vladimír Kánský (78 years old) from Spartak Prague 4 had a time of 67:08 min in sixth place, three veterans were disqualified for incorrect technique (knee failure).

In the women's race, veteran Lenka Borovičková from the SMOLA CHŮZE Praha section reached a time of 60:09 min, among the juniors at 3 km from Athletics Jižní Město, Martina Typltová was the best in 21:01 min and junior Václav Havelka from Spartak Praha 4 walked the track in 21:00 min. The race was also fully successful in terms of organization, after the race refreshments were available and during the ceremony (where more numerous runners were given for the half marathon and 10 km) the medalists were rewarded with material prizes.  PB
