In preparation for the peak of the season (European Championships Berlin 50km walk), Lukáš Gdula tried the "sprint" form on the 5.000m walk on the track during the extra-league in Ostrava, Lenka Borovičková improved by 24 seconds compared to last weekend on this track.

The second round of the extra league, which took place in Ostrava, expanded the ranks of the "limiters" for Berlin by three names. Performance requirements were met by half-breeder Lukáš Hodboď, hammerhead Kateřina Šafránková and sprinter Marcela Pírková. Zdeněk Stromšík shone on the hundred. The men of Olympus Prague and the women of Dukla Prague collected the most points.

Lukáš Gdula, who already has a limit for Berlin for the 50km walking marathon, has been safely met since the spring, tried out the "sprint" form on the 50m walk on the track and prepared at this stage in preparation for this peak season (ME Berlin 5.000km walk) preparation of excellent 20: 38min !!! He also gained 9 valuable extra-league points for his division. His brother Tomáš won 4 extra league points in the same race in 23: 36min.

Lenka Borovičková, who decided not to start the day before at the "Walking Holiday in Rumburk" in order to save energy for this race, won 8 extra-league points for PSK Olymp Praha, for which she is a guest from us this year. With its performance of 26: 53min, it improved by 24 seconds compared to last weekend's performance at the Masters Championship in Rumburk (27: 17min).

At the same time, we are keeping our fingers crossed for Lukáš in the final phase of his preparation for the peak of the season, which, as mentioned above, will be the European Championship in Berlin at the 50km walk on August 7, 2018.
