Trnava hosted an interstate match in the pupil category, where the home team faced opponents from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia.

RESULTS

The championship of the Republic of the student categories was not only a sign of fights for championship medals, but also the opportunity to wear the national team jersey during an international match in Slovakia.  The first two from the MČR received automatic nomination.

Surprisingly, the winner Daniel Mochal, who performed under 14 minutes, did not appear in the nomination. Mladá Boleslav won the nomination Marek Rösler and he won the place vacated by Dan Mochal  the third from MČR Turnovský Ondřej Plecháček.

In the original nomination, the winner of the MČR Eliška Říhová from Frýdek was featured, but in the end from Rumbur Aneta Otradovská added the training partner Řihová, Viktoria Vaňková.

He started the entire racing day with a walking race. The Slovak organizers decided to start the boys and girls together. In heavy rain, the male and female competitors set out to face the wet track whipped by the rain and the 3000m long race.

From the start of the race, a group consisting of the favored Slovaks broke away, together with the Czechs and the Croatian Pivarski. The Croat was the first to drop out, and then Ondřej Plecháček. However, he lost gradually and fought on the edge of a personal best. Marek Rösler held on to second place, which seemed almost certain, when Šimon Krompaščík began to lose to the leading pair. The entire race was clearly dominated by Šimon Bátovský, who is returning to the track after an injury.

In the end, he flew past the goal in his performance of 13:49:37. He reached the finish line under the 14-minute mark, and thus OR Marek Rösler. Unfortunately, he collected 2 reds for his knees during the race, and during the final attempt to get under the 14-minute limit, he most likely did not observe the technique and received a third red for breaking contact. Although he passed the goal, he was de facto immediately disqualified. The Slovaks rejoiced at the winning double. He ran out in third place Ondřej Plecháček, who, in addition to the third place, won a new OR in the time 14:29:23 and added 8 points to the Czech account. However, Plecháček also faced two reds (contact) and the young pedestrians have something to work on during the winter.

Even in the girls' competition, the home team counted on the victory of the Slovakian competitor. The pair Indrišková - Gutisová immediately went to the front, but soon it was Gutisová who started to fall away. However, the Slovaks probably counted on that, Indrišková was the favorite of the race. Close on her heels was the Croatian woman and the two Hungarian women.

The other girls started to lose quickly, but in the rain and on the wet track, the girls fought with all their might.

Indrišková won 15:16:28 ahead of Hungarian Enikö, who lost only one second. Chortvatka Nujič was another 7 behind. 5 female students got below the 16 min mark. She finished sixth in the new OR Viktoria Vaňková - 16:29:78. The race failed Poll Otradovska. With a performance of 17:38:32, she was one minute behind her performance from the MČR and finished eighth. However, compared to last year, when at MU in Znojmo she fell behind the performance from MČR by more than 2 minutes, this is definitely progress.

The walkers thus added 8 points to the Czech account.

The Czech teams dominated MU overall, and our competitors not only got to try out the start in the national team jersey, but were able to hang gold medals around their necks.
