Results/Ergebnisse

In Znojmo, an interstate match was held. Our national team played against opponents from Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Slovakia.

The championship of the Czech Republic for boys and girls took place only a week ago, so most of the male and female walkers brought their championship form to Znojmo for the 3.000m walk on the track.

Matej Piták he was the pedestrian king of the domestic championship in the north of Bohemia, and in the south of Moravia he only had to bow down to the unrivaled Slovak Lukáš Rosenbaum (13:08.05!!!), who walked the first kilometer even in 4:15 minutes!!!  Matěj Pitak reduced his time to under 14 minutes and with a performance of 13:50.67 won an excellent second place in the interstate, in front of another Slovak Šimon Bátovský (14:14.70). The second of the Czech representatives, Ondra Plecháček, finished in an excellent fourth place with a performance of 15:09.05.

Czech schoolgirls did just a little less well than Czech boys on the 3.000m walking track, when Eliška Kokořová took 5th place (16:23.77) and Aneta Otradovská came in 7th place (19: 04.89).

The Czech students collected a beautiful 16 points and the Czech students 10 points as part of the interstate team for the Czech Republic.

We congratulate all the students on the successful representation of our country.
