Adéla Veselková and Tomáš Endršt are student champions of the Czech Republic in walking on a 3.000m walk on the track in excellent performances. Very close battles for silver and bronze medals.

P1090634 2P1090723 2The races took place at favorable temperatures of 20-21 degrees. C at the City Stadium; 15 pupils (17,05 h) and 7 pupils (17,30 h) started.

The girls' 3 m race had a clear course, albeit a favorite one Adéla Veselková, 06, SAK Rumburk, coach M. Dušek, she was 14 days ill for the previous 10 days. She set a record pace (the first km in 4:39 min), but the consequences of the disease manifested themselves and she had to slow down; nevertheless with confidence and well according to the rules she won in time 15: 25.62 min. For her, the expected three candidates fought for the remaining medals, in which they mostly set the pace Alžběta Franklová, 05, AC Sparta Prague, coach V. Molva, in front of Adéla Pittnerová, 06, Spartak Vrchlabí SMOLA Konstrukce, coaches K. Maternová and K. Čermáková; the third walked Lucie Krinwaldová, 05, AC Mladá Boleslav, coach J. Prückner.  The fast first kilometer (5:03 min) dampened attempts at a separate escape, so the trio entered the last 400 m in close succession; up to 200 m before the finish, the most experienced Krinwald started and already defended the second lead; about third place among Frankl and Pittner decided 8 thousandths of a second !! The order is Krinwald silver (15: 48.45 min OR), bronze Frankl (15: 49.43 min) and "potato" medal Pittner (15: 49.51 min OR). The competitors managed the finish without the referees' objections, but this tactic is very risky, it is right to build a lead in time. Fifth place was won by Anna Horáková, 05, AC Rumburk, coach J. Rein (16: 59.45 min) and sixth Anna Výmolová, 05, TJ Slezan Frýdek-Místek, coach J. Nejezchleba (17: 13.21 min). For too fast a start (400 m deep under 2:00 min) she paid extra in her third race with a minimum improvement of OR by 4 seconds Michaela Plešáková, 05, TJ VS Tábor, coach M. Lapka (17: 15.98 min). Personal records have been set by otherstrusts of coach J. Nejezchleby, younger pupil of TJ Slezan Frýdek-Místek Viktorie Bartoňová, 08 (17: 34.53 min), Eliška Kokořová, 07 (18: 10.92 min) and Michaela Boboková, 07 (18: 47.98 min).

The boys' 3 m competition lacked a sick main favorite Matěj Piták, 07, Spartak Vrchlabí SMOLA KONSTRUKCEso winning Tomáš Endršt, 05, University SK Prague, coach P. Brandejský, he had to set the pace himself far ahead of the others. He walked evenly (4: 57-9: 59 min) and thanks to acceleration (last kilometer in 4:50 min) he defended the indoor title, but with a time 2 min better than in February (14: 49.89 vs. 16: 48.95 min). The fight for the remaining medals had an unexpected course: after half of the race, the non-specialist got to the second place Albert Kukla, 05, SK Jeseniova, coach T. Korbel, and gained a promising lead over Vojtěch Novák, 06, TJ Slezan Frýdek-Místek, coach J. Nejezchleb. However, Stříbrný from the hall fought in the last quarter of the track, 200 m before the finish line he caught up with the opponent and gained a slight lead in the finish line, which meant second place. (Novák silver in 16: 20.28 min OR - Kukla bronze in 16: 21.01 min OR). The fourth place remained for the bronze from the hall Filipa Klazara, 06, Spartak Vrchlabí SMOLA KONSTRUKCE, coaches K. Maternová and K. Čermáková (17: 48.32 min), fifth finished in OR 18: 48.18 min also so far non-specialist David Zedník, 05, TJ Dukla Prague, coach M. Fliegl and sixth other Frýdek-Místek charge of coach J. Nejezchleba, junior pupil Šimon Václavík, 08, in OR 19: 03.49 min. Most of the participants went technically within the rules, only one student received two proposals for exclusion. The basis of success is to train both the physical and technical component! There is still a big difference between the number of pupils; To overcome it, the inclusion of walking in all rounds of the regional youth team championships would serve, as the representatives of Czech walking have been proposing for many years.     MD Petr Brandejský        RESULTS
