In the joint men's and women's race on the 3.000m walk on the track, starting at 21 pm, in the men's race Lukáš Gdula set a new personal record with an excellent performance of 11: 51,23min and finished in 6th place. He defended the world performance of the year in the men's race David Tomala (11: 00,36), right behind him, the Slovak finished second in the personal record Dominik Černý (11: 04,15).

In women's walking at 3000 m formed Mária Katerinka Czaková the best Slovak performance in history 12:30,32 (so far 12: 34,29) and thus reached the top of this year's world tables. "Finally, the person fell to the three thousand. I tried it outside as well in the hall, but I still lost a few hundred. It's out now, " Matej Spišiak - Martin Pupiš, the trustee of the coaching couple, rejoiced.
