Lenka Borovičková, Luděk Šolc and Mirek Fliegl defended last year's victories!

In Svitavy, a 9m walking race on the track took place in the heat of the athletics in great athletics (although the start was already at 5.000 am). The race was marked by a very low number of participants (4 women / 8 men), which is very surprising for walking veterans, because in league races, veterans make up the majority of the starting field.

In the women's race LENKA BOROVIČKOVÁ (time achieved: 27: 54,87 / conversion over age age: 24: 59,35)) PRAGUE WALKING PRAGUE defended its championship last year before Lenka Slabáková (30: 03,84 / 25: 34,17) from AC Slavia Brno and overall third Nad'ou Dušková (27: 28,97 / 26: 09,16) from AC Rumburk, although Naďa Dušková was the first to cross the finish line in absolute order and in absolute time with an almost half-minute lead. However, after recalculation despite the age coefficients that determine the order at this championship, Lenka Borovičková was more than a minute better! Congratulations to Lenka for her successful defense and another gold medal in her already very rich collection!

In the men's race in the absence of favorites Tomáš Hlavenka, Martin Nedvídek and Michal Šandera, he defended his last year's victory in the under-65 category Ludek Solc (27: 00,20 / 22: 13,75) from AC Mladá Boleslav. He won in the over-65s category Mirek Fliegl (29: 00,31 / 22: 20,57) from the Prague Olympus, who also defended his championship last year.
