10km WALKING RACE - MARTIN NEDVÍDEK, M40, WORLD CHAMPION !!!!!, TEAM CR, M75, KÁNSKÝ-MAREK-DOSTALÍK BRONZE !!!!

The afternoon then belonged to a total of three men's races divided by age categories and full of huge competition and top performance. Excellent performance was not affected by a very strong fresh wind and uneven track with an irregular 1.368m circuit. The track was the same as in the women's race. And Czech men in concert "BIG" played a great, great role and in M40 even thanks to Martin Nedvídek FIRST VIOLIN! Fantastic! But after the show. So, together from all three races 65 BEST PERFORMANCE are in this TABLEin which it is also Czech TRIO: Martin Nedvídek - Josef Smola - Petr Adam !!! Each of the three races had a completely different course and its great drama.

In the first race of the M 70+ category:  became a shocking thing when clearly leading World Champion and holder of a fresh world record from the 3.000m race, Ian Richards, GBR, he was already with his hands over his head after winning the finish line, disqualified !!! Madness !!! This is also a walk !!! And so he became the winner, Ettorio Formentin, ITA, which was the only one in this race to get below 1 hour. But the Czech competitors also had something to offer, though The Czech team M75 consisting of Vladimír Kánský, Stanislav Marek, Václav Dostalík won the BRONZE MEDALS! CONGRATULATIONS YOUNG PEOPLE !!!! That was a ride!!! 

In the second race of the M60 - M65 category:  Petr Adam M65 he showed again and proved how he is able to keep his nerves in check at big races, and to "sell" what is in him as much as possible and there was a lot of it:  5th place with performance 1: 02: 29h on such a difficult circuit, both performance and placement are an excellent result for him! Admirable! Congratulations! 

In the end, the best of the best - the third race in the M35 - M50 category:

Martin Nedvídek, M40 became WORLD CHAMPION, performance 46: 09min, CONGRATULATIONS !!! Martin Nedvídek won in the M40 with a fantastic performance and thus saved the reputation of the entire Czech walking expedition at this World Championship !!!!

He won in the same race Josef Smola, M50, 6th place, performance 51: 45min, strong competition no longer "allowed". Medals were distributed at a level under 48min !!! And the fourth place still needed 50 minutes !! The world performance of the best in the M50 + categories is incredible !!!

Another iron in the fire and a clear favorite on the medal there was (or should have been) still in this race Czech team, M40 in the consistion Nedvidek-Smola-Dušek. Unfortunately, the competitor Miloš Dušek could not come to the World Cup at the last minute, so the Czech team did not have the required number of three competitors and was disqualified. Damage. The bronze lay there for free and the silver was absolutely real ......... !!!!
