A very successful birth of the new walking meeting "ŠLUKNOV". Thanks to AC RUMBURK and especially thanks to Honza REIN !!! The first year was dominated by AC Rumburk competitors.

Almost ideal weather except for the wind, which made the otherwise excellent circuit unpleasant. And Adam Nedvídek, an excellent professional moderator in the field. In short, nothing can be said against the new race. Only maybe more competitors, but that is the general problem of walking races ....... The perspective of this race is clear, in 2019 there will be 10 km and 20 km and 30 km. It is therefore quite logical that we will register the 30km race at the same time as the M-CR 30km walk for 2019, including other national championships of other countries.

He became the absolute winners of the 10km race in men Martin Nedvídek from AC Rumburk in excellent 46: 30,8min !!!, and constantly improving in women Naďa Dušková from AC Rumburk in a new personal record 55: 23,8min. The winner of the race at Lenka Borovičková from SMOLA CHŮZE Praha became 5km well in 27: 12,2 minutes also in a new personal record !!! Congratulations to all!

43378228 238101786885314 7779687392406929408 nThe actual 10km race had a very interesting course, mainly thanks to the winning Martin Nevídek, but also the second in line Rosti Koláře from SK Hranicewho bravely kept pace with Martin within 4,5 km and was not afraid to take risks, which in the meantime even made him a 5km 23: 08min person, which of course cost him a lot of energy and in the second half of the race he had to cut the gas to the finish time 47:53,3 , 50min. But this is how to race !! Pepa Smola did not fight for the third place - there was no one with him - in fact he was - Alone with himself, the ambition to overcome the magical 53 minutes as last year, long ago took away or then completely melted the heat in Malaga, and so "only" the resulting 18,0:4, 6min. The originally three-member train ran in XNUMXth-XNUMXth place Šandera-Šolc-Dušková. Here it was quite clear that "Šandy" successfully "pulls" Nada Dušková behind another nice person for 10 km - see above. LuděK Šolc "left" this train at the end of the race (55: 12,4min) to win the overall 4th place in the absolute ranking. Of course, they fought not only in absolute order, but also in individual veteran categories, where the most occupied were the categories M55, M65 and M75. In the M55, behind the victorious Ludko Šolc, he finished in second place HONZA REIN 1: 02: 01h, who arranged everything for this nice race (and that it was nerves ... elections, etc.) and then he raced like that nicely! Miloš Němec, who is no longer a complete newcomer among us pedestrians, came in third and recovered so quickly from the 20-kilometer hell in Malaga ........ He won in the M65 category with a huge lead PETR ADAM from SMOLA CHŮZE Prague and with his improvement compared to the World Championships in Malaga at 1: 04:23, he again showed that he has to count on him very highly at the World Championships in Toruń 2019 (just Peter, now please don't do your volumes yet !! in Ladronka and elsewhere, wait at least 3-4 weeks ...), Jan Zajíc then followed Petr in 65nd place and Rosťa Kovář in 2rd place. In M3 what a name it means: absolutely clear winner Vlada Kánský 75: 1.06h (this year's veteran World Champion and another list of his successes would take a separate article), Zdeněk Gonsiorovsky in second place in 20:1:11, and Standa Marek in third place (HAD) at 41:1:13

Unfortunately, the 5km race was marked by very little participation and so there was no doubt about the winning Lenka Borovičková 27: 12,2min from the beginning. In addition, Lenka improved her personal record on this track by 10 seconds !!! Congratulations!
