Commentary by Ján Záhončík

On June 4, 2022, the organizers of the Záhorácká Twentieth wrote their 53rd chapter. 123 competitors from 13 countries took part in the start. The Czech Republic was represented by the best duo Tereza Ďurďiaková and Vít Hlaváč. However, the biggest attraction was the world-class Ukrainian pedestrians. After all, Ludmila Olyanovska's time 42:57 speaks for itself. The Záhorácka twenty is a big holiday in Borský Mikluláš. People in this village can no longer even imagine that this race should not be next year. It is very pleasing for the organizers and they are already looking forward to the 54th year to be even better than this year.
