In the category of students, Alžběta Franklová made an amazing difference in performance when she won the 3000m walk in the new personal record 15: 47,85. Its improvement is more like a two-minute one!

And the highlight of the morning races was the attack on the record of the Czech Republic Jaromír Morávek, the representative of SMOLA CHŮZE Praha.  Jára improved the age-old Czech youth historical maximum on the 5000-meter track with a time of 21: 46.26. He knocked down Rudolf Cogan's record record of 1987 by seventeen seconds. Congratulations !!!

After a light lunch and rest, the walking meeting continued with a specialty - walking sprints! They competed from 200 meters of walking to 1000 meters of adults. In preparations for The youngest athlete Kateřina Kratochvílová from the home AC Rumburk won 200 meters. At the age of 8, she also walked 200 meters for 53,05 in the beautiful finish before Kateřina Kašková 53,14 from AC Rumburk. The fastest kilometer was demonstrated by the winner of the fifth Vít Hlaváč, when he passed the finish line in the time of 3: 42,66 before the ageless Martin Nedvídek 3: 54,71. Saturday's walking festival ends with relays. First, the smallest ones raced in front of the grandstand within a radius of 100 meters. The winning relay consisting of Kateřina Kratochvílová and Vojtěch Souček ran an amazing 5 meters in 1100 minutes. At the start of the 30-minute doubles relay, 14 pairs took part, which are always drawn. And this time the lot mixed the youth beautifully, the pair Adam Zajíček and Katka Nedvídková won - 6631 meters. A few meters away, the second pair Jára Morávek and Erika Merkoutová in 6560 meters. And the third pair Víťa Hlaváč and Denisa Brožková walked 6509 meters. The first purely women's pair were Anežka Drahotová and Míla Reinová, when the girls ran 6019 meters. The race was again very attractive, Jára and Erika led the pair for a long time, but the overwhelming finish was for Adam and Katka.

The whole day was huge heat, which was made more pleasant by the fountain at the start of hundreds. The freshener, which was managed by our youngest pedestrians to number one, worked well. Many thanks to Frant Párys for his willingness and measurement of the whole Saturday on the target camera. And all the organizers from AC Rumburk and the judges deserve great praise.

Thank you to the partners and supporters of AC Rumburk, we appreciate it very much. The pedestrians were great again, so we really enjoyed Saturday.

IMG 2135SUNDAY 9 August 8:

Chodecké races continued on Sunday. We listened to the wishes of the competitors and after 13 years we again organized a men's and women's race for 20 meters on the track in the Czech Republic. Especially women were about to set a new record for the Czech Republic at 000 meters of walking. It was very hot again, so we postponed the start an hour earlier. At 20 we started the women's race for 000 meters and 8.00 meters of walking.

And the result is amazing, the winner of the race set a new record for the Czech Republic. And who is the new record holder? 15 meters, it seemed that our best pedestrian of recent times, Anežka Drahotová, was headed for the record, but within two kilometers, five laps, Anežka was a great fit. Tereza Ďurdiaková and in the last three kilometers she reached under forty an hour for a great performance (1: 39: 53,1) and deservedly became the new record holder of the Czech Republic. The second place belongs to Anežka Drahotová, who finished very fast on Saturday. She also did very well in the relays and that was probably the piece of strength that was missing at the end of the twenty. Štěpánka Pohlová Kučerová, who ran under less than fifty hours, also came in third in a beautiful personal record! Great news for women walking. Everything is enhanced by the beautiful performance growth of Eliška Martínková, who finished first on the 10-meter track (000: 50). We have something to look forward to in the International Championship in Poděbrady! All two pedestrians reached the finish line, three went twenty and six athletes went ten.

The men's start took place at 10.00 at a temperature of 32 degrees. Four fighters took the start of the twenty. Six pedestrians made it to the top ten. Machine pace, regular refreshment and a beautiful winning performance were demonstrated by Víťa Hlaváč - 1:32:28, followed by the ageless Martin Nedvídek in 1:39:10 and the third place was won by a junior, record holder from Saturday at 5000 meters walk, representative of SMOLA CHŮZE Prague Jaromír Morávek at 1:40:56. Tomáš Vojtíšek finished fourth in 1:59:12. In Chile, the temperature was around 35 degrees.

Adam Zajíček was in the top ten at 48:02. All fighters who started at the start reached the finish line.

The race was of great quality, the winners and their pursuers deserve great admiration. Everyone went out, fought for every meter and the performances are really great! The incredible performance was performed by young pedestrians from Rumburk, they tirelessly refreshed for four hours, and thanks to you, pedestrians performed such great performances. Again, everything seemed so simple, everything worked out, and I can thank everyone. Competitors, organizers from AC Rumburk, judges and spectators. It was a difficult weekend, but it was worth it. The reward is two Czech records.
