Josef SMOLA was elected a member of the organizing committee of the European Team Walking Team 2021 in Poděbrady. Libor VARHANÍK, chairman of the organizing committee.

On February 18, 2020, a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the European Team Walking Championship 2021 was held in Poděbrady in the presence of, among others the mayor of Poděbrady Jaroslav Červinka, the deputy mayor of Poděbrady Roman Schulz and the chairman of the Czech Athletic Association Libor Varhaník.

On the agenda, among other items, was the approval and election of the Organizing Committee of the European Team Walking Team 2021 in Poděbrady.

Libor Varhaník was elected chairman of the organizing committee, Jaroslav Červinka was elected vice-chairman and Josef SMOLA was a member of the organizing committee.
