Rostislav Rožnovský did not follow up on the success of the Czech national team walk last weekend at the European Under-19 Championship in Boras. Turkish pedestrians dominated again!

Rostislav Rožnovsky finished the 10 km race in 22nd place in time 51: 36.57 with more than 10 minutes loss for the winner, and the successful campaign of the Czech pedestrian team from last weekend (Anežka Drahotová, World Universiade - bronze, Vít Hlaváč EC, under 22 -11th place OR 20km ch 1:26:55, Eliška Martínková - MU Trnava - 1st place), so unfortunately did not follow. 

For a clear victory, he continued this year the best junior European performance of this category 41: 10.03 Belarus Mikita Kaliada ahead of Italian Riccardo Orsoni (42: 51.71) and Pole Lukasz Niedzialek (42: 20.66).

As in the European Under-22 Championship last weekend, the Turkish pedestrians were dominated by Turkish competitors. Meryem Bekmezová won the gold in a time of 44: 44.50. Her silver compatriot Evin Demir was almost two minutes slower (46: 38.68). The representative of the Spanish walking school Mariola Garcia won the bronze (46: 50,50).
