Anežka Drahotová at the World Universiade benefited from the heat and humidity of the BRONZE MEDAL for a 20km walk (1:35:44) !!! Palermo was in Naples!

The 30th Summer World Universiade has 20km walking competitions, in which our best and most successful representative Anežka Drahotová also took part.

In this difficult race, Anežka once again confirmed her world extra class and benefited from the very difficult conditions, heat and humidity with a beautiful BRONZE MEDAL with a performance of 1:35:44 !!!

For the first two Australians (Katie HAYWARD 1:33:30 and Jemim MONDAY 1:33:57) she just didn't have "yet", but she left very strong Chinese women very far behind And WANG 1:37:33 a Yu LIU 1:38:17 and also very unpleasant Ukrainians.

The direction of preparation for the World Championships in Doha, Qatar (at the end of September 2019) is more than good .......

Anežka was brief in the finish, but absolutely concise: "Today was difficult, difficult conditions I would say ......" there is not much to add, in fact there is and quite a lot:

Congratulations, clap and put all your fingers up !!!

The men's 20km race was the absolute domain of the Japanese, who lined up in the top three when Koki crossed the finish line. IKEDA performance 1:22:49, ie for a time below 1:20 am it was absolutely impossible to think in these very demanding conditions ........
