Glenda Morejon     The IAAF Walking Challenge continued in La Coruni, Spain. The Ecuadorian winner Estefanía Morejónová took care of the sensation, when in her debut at a twenty-kilometer distance she passed the finish line first in the new junior world record and this year's best world performance 1:25:29. At the same time, it also improved the value of the continental record and ranked twelfth in the historical world tables. She surpassed Russia's junior world high in Kirdyapkin by one second. She could also enjoy the scalp of two star Chinese women, Jiau Yang (1:25:34) and Hong Liu (1:25:56).

 The men's twenties were also very fast. Here, the Japanese leader Toshikazu Yamanishi confirmed the role of the leader of this year's world tables, lagging behind his own world performance this year with his winning time of 1:17:41.
