Race for 3.000m walk in the hall - 25.3.2019 men, 26.3.2019 women

IMG 1017From March 24 to March 30, 2019, the MASTERS World Championships in Athletics, which is the culmination of this year's veteran athletics season and, of course, walking, also takes place in Toruń, Poland. The walking race program consists of two racing blocks, first a 3.000 m walk in the hall, and then a 10 km walk on the road (on the circuit near the stadium with the start and finish at the outdoor athletic stadium).

On the second (March 25.3) and the third day (March 26.3) afternoon, the modern athletics hall belonged to pedestrians of all ages for 3.000m walks. There were very exciting walking fights, excellent performances, crowned by two fantastic world records, but also exclusion and disqualification, which unfortunately hit the Czech team the most this time.

3.000m walk in the hall, men - 25.3.19, women 26.3.19:

From the Czech point of view, this time only one medal, which has traditionally won it in M75 Vladimir Kánsky, but this time "SILVER only" 20: 30,58min! Congratulations !!! In this category, however, the M75 was also the most excluded (a total of 6 DQ pedestrians !!!), though Unfortunately, disqualification also affected Vašek Dostalík and Stand Marek.

From the Czech point of view, the reputation thus corrected at least the 5th places that won Petr Adam in M65 17: 29,58min  a Josef Smola in M50 14: 26,27min. The largest and highest quality competition traditionally met in the M55 and M50. He achieved the absolute fastest time of the day in the M45 Normunds Ivzans, Latvia 12: 41,45min. The fantastic world record has passed Ian Richards, United Kingdom, 15: 19,64min in M70.

Unfortunately, she was in the women's race Lenka Borovičková W45 disqualified, and thus any medal ambitions of the Czech team on this day took over. Although the other Czech competitors showed very nice performances and placements, for which they definitely deserve great recognition: 7th place Anna Málková 18: 08,17min W55, 11th place, Ivana Škařoupková 17: 09,56min W40, 15th place Miloslava Reinová 18: 24,25min W50.

The Frenchwoman achieved the best performance of all women by a long way ahead of the others  Marie Astrid Monmessin, which in the W60 went an incredible 15: 43,36min on a 3000m walk. Congratulations! Other Top performances were achieved mainly by competitors from Spain, which dominated the entire world top consisting of 11 country.
