The absolute winner of the international indoor walking races at 3.000 m in Vienna, with a huge lead of more than a minute, was Tomáš Hlavenka 12: 54,5 ahead of the Slovak Alan Hamzič 13: 55,2. 16-year-old Jaka Grabner from Slovenia 14: 59,0 came in third. Tomáš Vojtíšek showed a big improvement and with a time of 15: 07,1, which again improved his personal record, he finished fifth overall.
