The race, organized by athletes SG Jablonec nad Nisou (Mr. Semrád), in which a total of 22 pedestrians (13 in the women's and 9 in the men's category) took part, was used mainly by young people as the last opportunity to meet the limits for the start at the Championship 10.2. in Prague. Out of 6 judges, JUDr. Macek, the former 50 km pedestrian champion of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, was also decided by other former representatives D. Šnajdr, P. Brandejský, the national youth coach P. Choděra and also an active competitor, the Jablonec coach J. Černý.

In the men's race was the unrivaled Rumburk Martin Nedvídek, medalist of last year's World Veterans Championship (12: 59.33 min) with a big lead over the home Mykola Hetsyanyn from TJ LIAZ (14: 53.22 min) and a newcomer among pedestrians, a very well-equipped Trutnov junior Robert Hurdálek (15 : 44.96 min), which is led by coach D. Šnajdr. The boys from Mladá Boleslav (Balicz, Solnička, Šturma) had a start as a condition check according to coach Prückner. Behind them, the Prague youth Václav Havelka improved his personal record by 11 seconds to 17: 34.15 min and the plan to reach a time under 18 min was fulfilled by veteran Petr Adam (17: 57.41 min).

As expected, the women were dominated by experienced veterans, medalists from the World and European Championships, Lenka Borovičková from Prague (16: 06.58 min) and Martina Netolická from Liberec (17: 06.68 min). In third place in 17: 21.14 min, Rumburk junior Veronika Fürstová confirmed a gradual move towards the original performance (15:40 min from 2017) after a long-term illness. Similarly, Kristýna Vejšická from Athletics Jižní Město (Athlete's Champion in the Hall 2017, 3 km 16:39 min) who was eliminated for almost two seasons is improving her illness for almost two seasons. In front of her, the personal junior Pavla Cinkánová set a personal record of 17: 56.12 minutes, followed by Klára Kladáčová (5: 6 min) from Kladno, led by her brother, Vít. The disciple Krimwaldová (17: 49.22 min) tested her performance in the same way as the boys from Mladá Boleslav; Anna Klimentová (18: 26.80 min) from coach Choděra from Novoborsk also met the limit at the Czech Championships. The best of the Vrchlabí group of girls, adolescent Marie Dejmková, led by Katka Maternová (who is still working as a coach after the illness), also improved her personal record by 18: 38.47 minutes by another 19 seconds. The revival was the start of the Polish pupil Holumbovská, who finished last in her probably first race in 38.05: 20 min.

It is worth thanking all the organizers and judges for a quality race, which is in short supply for pedestrians in the winter!
